PLEASE DON'T RELY ON FRIENDS/FAMILY FOR SENSITIVE AND IMPORTANT COLLEGE INFORMATION!
We ask ALL students to contact us with any questions regarding our program or their Degree. We have current information. What you are hearing from a "friend" may be incorrect or old information. Colleges are CONSTANTLY changing their requirements or policies to keep up with today's society.
You can start with any course that seems interesting to you! There is no order to what you take. The English, Math and Science courses are more difficult, so we recommend you leave those courses to be last as it can take some students longer to study for these courses. However, if you wish to get the most difficult ones out of the way, go for it!
Once you receive your degree plan, you are able to click on each of the course names and a Dropbox link will appear. You can click on that link to bring you to the study material. It will either give you PowerPoint or PDF files to view.
You do not need to buy ANY books to study the courses we offer. The study material we provide--accessible through your degree plan--is more than enough to prepare for any of the courses.
You can email us at [email protected] or call us at 718-252-4649. We ask that you call during our office hours or you can email us anytime! If you leave a message or email us, please wait for someone to respond and confirm your appointment before appearing for your exam.
It depends on which test you are taking. Some can be so simple that it takes only 20-30 mins to take! Some, though, can take up to 2 hours. It varies from person to person. You should confirm with someone from EEC Degrees before coming in as to how much time you should set aside from yourself. We'll give you the best recommendation.
The majority of the exams are multiple choice, short answers and/or essays. Math exams are NOT multiple choice.
We are open 5 days a week for test-taking in Boro Park, with the occasional Sunday. A schedule is usually sent out every Friday morning for the following week's schedule. Please make sure you check your email weekly to see if you received the schedule! If you wish to take an exam at our Monsey or Lakewood location, please email us for more information at [email protected].
All tests must be scheduled in advance by phone or email.
Sure! As long as you are prepared for all of the exams and you schedule an appointment with enough time to complete all of them in one day, you can schedule as many as you would like.
